One the of the biggest challenges of virtual learning (and homeschooling too!) is keeping your learner engaged and motivated.  For some kids, virtual platforms just don’t work well with their learning style.  For other kids, being stuck at home instead of being in the classroom with all their friends and teachers is enough to squash their enthusiasm for learning.  Whatever the reason, when motivation goes down, challenging behaviors go up and learning suffers.

Join Stacy R Vinciguerra and Anna Smith, the experts behind Thrive Family Consulting, as they share their tried and true, real world techniques and strategies for keeping kids motivated and for effectively handling challenging behaviors around at-home learning.  They’ll talk about:

  • how to create a physical environment that works for your learner’s unique style and abilities
  • how to create routines and schedules that best support your learner and still align with the school’s required virtual schedule
  • taming the organizational monster; managing assignments, due dates, sign on credentials, and all the other details needed in virtual learning
  • real world strategies to increase motivation in all different types of learners
  • real world strategies to decrease avoidant behaviors; all the things your learner does to wrangle out of any kind of school work
  • ways to navigate the influence of a stay-at-home or work-from-home parent in the learning environment

If you have a child enrolled in part-time or full-time virtual learning this school year, this is a don’t miss webinar.  Gain the tools you need to tackle the motivation challenge and keep your learner on track.
